Geography is a high school course. It is a foundational class that helps students form a mental map of the world, understand cultures, climates, and the history of countries. We will see how God created the world with oceans, land, rivers, mountains, deserts, and other unique land features. This course involves some research; students will need access to the internet to complete some assignments. Students will be expected to write essays, and give an oral presentation. Expected time outside of class each week needed for homework will average 5 – 6 hours.
You will need to purchase the following books:

World Geography Quizzes and Tests
You will also need to purchase 2 missionary biographies; one per semester. Each student will have several options to choose from.
You will also need to purchase:
2-inch 3-ring binder
24 colored pencils
Pigma Micron Fine Point or Ultra Fine Point 4-Color Pen Set (black, red, green, blue)
5 divider tabs (Notes, Maps, Graded Work, Essays/Reports, Tests/Quizzes.)
Tuition is $45 per month (July through April) with a one-time $30 supply/printing fee due in July. The first payment must include the supply fee.
1) Write 10 post-dated checks to be cashed at the first of the month (July 2018 – April 2019)
2) Set up bank draft to arrive at the 1st of the month
3) Pay for the entire year by semester. (1st semester dated July 1: $255 & 2nd semester dated Dec 1: $225)

Expected time outside of class each week needed for preparation and homework will average between 3 -4hours.
Junior High American History is an exciting exploration of the story of America. The course uses lectures, power points and video presentations to encourage an in depth study on a variety of topics which have shaped our nation. Class time will be spent not only reading, highlighting and discussing the text material in depth, but also will include a variety of exciting enrichment activities.
A detailed supply list will be provided upon registration.
Cost of class: Tuition is $450 for the year, split into 10 payments of $45 (due July 1 2019-April 1 2020) and a $25 supply/copy fee due with the July payment

Required Student Text: Abeka, United States History: Heritage of Freedom (Third Edition). We will cover our country’s history starting with the period of no boundaries, move through expansion, wars, and exploring the making of America as we know it. This class will use a narrative form, along with power points and videos as well as high school note taking and study skills being incorporated.
Supplies: 3 ring binder, paper, pens, pencils, red pen, and map pencils. There is a one-time fee of $20.00 for printed materials.
To register, please fill out the Training Center registration form and mail it along with your $45 tuition and $20 supply fee ($65.00) payment dated July 1, 2019. There are a total of 10 tuition payments of $45.00 (due on the 1st of July, Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov., Dec., Jan., Feb., March, April). A late fee of $10.00 per class will be added for fees received after the 10th of each month.
